It’s Friday, a new weekend , a new exciting beginning. Is it time to make changes?

If you can’t change the world, change the world around you.

Even little changes can make a big difference. Imagine if everyone changed the world around themselve’s for the better, how much better would the world be?

Take the example of the humble plastic bag. If everyone took their own reusable bags to go to the supermarket, what a difference that would make.

In Europe , supermarkets either don’t supply bags at all, or if they do , they charge for them.

How about committing to a reusable coffee cup for your takeaways (If you still buy them)? So simple, yet so valuable. Small changes done consistently would make such a great positive impact to our environment and planet.

And then there are the really easy humanitarian changes. Being kind, smiling at a stranger, unplugging your earphones and having a conversation with someone you wouldn’t normally have had. Complimenting someone, or showing appreciation and validating what someone else is trying to achieve, are all very powerful examples of making a positive impact.

Say “sorry” to the relevant person if you need to, and if you have made mistakes, admit to them, learn from them, and move on.

Lastly, the biggest and I believe the most valuable and rewarding thing of all is to say “I love you” to whomever you love, whether it is your family, friends or yourself.

Be surprised and delighted how much better you feel.
